Veterans Memorial Fishing Pier has a quite a variety of fish that you can catch. For the most part you have the highest chance of catching catfish and trout. Some times people will pull in other species but not as often. We see red fish every now and then as well.
Is this a good place to watch a rocket launch?
Yes. Very good place. On the bridge may be better.
Is the parking lot open 24 7 ?
Yes its 24/7. It does not close. Only the restaurant close at a certain time. The bathroom is still accessible.
